Right now, is is a wonderful but also demanding time for many people. Time for change, but it may come with a struggle. Time for more light, but not yet completely convincing. Time for spring, but still cold. A time where we humans tend to either give up on things or find a completely new approach. It is time for Easter; the old must die so there can be resurrection, in any meaning or emphasis we want to put on that.
Also, it´s full moon tomorrow here in DK, and a powerful one I heard.
There are many reasons to take it a little easy with ourselves and do something that truly nourishes our body as well as our soul.
For me, a bath does just that. Preferably in a real bath tub. And if you don´t have one, like I didn´t for many years, a shower with lit candles at the side and some delicious soaps and body oil combined with time and soothing music will work wonders too.
(I have this one next to our beloved tub, the best healing spot in our house!)
Look at it like a spring-cleaning for the body, and do it as often as you like during this time (or any time you want!) to warm your soul in this transition toward light and spring. It is a service to you, yourself, and thus to every life you get in touch with, being a happier, more balanced YOU.
And if you want some self care inspiration for your walls, you can buy the images above as signed prints in the shop in 2 sizes: A4 prints or the double sized A3 prints (just write in a note which one you want when you choose this item) – enjoy!
Love and take care, Lise.
(This year our daughter, Celeste who is 12, decorated the Easter tree with eggs all by herself, which was a complete joy to watch. The care, the tradition, the creativity she put into it. To me, the eggs stand for new life and much needed resurrection energy)
